Rocket Girls

Yukari Morita travels to the Solomon Islands searching for her missing father, who went missing in the South Seas. There, she meets Nasuda, director of the Solomon Space Association, who's trying to launch a manned rocket into space. Nasuda discovers that Yukari's small size makes her a suitable candidate for a smaller rocket the SSA already has, and he proposes a deal: in exchange for joining the SSA's astronaut program, they'll help find her father.
