Real Drive

The anime Real Drive takes place in 2061 AD, fifty years after the introduction of the Network society, which was meant to unite people through a shared consciousness. However, the Network's security issues led to the development of the Meta Real Network, or "the Metal," a more secure system that stores personal data in virtual "bubble shells." As people increasingly relied on the Metal for their daily lives, they began to express their desires and instincts within the secure environment, but this led to conflicts between their virtual and real-world selves. Cyber divers, experts who investigate anomalies in the Metal, play a crucial role in uncovering the strange events occurring between Reality and the Metal.
