Hibiki Amami is a high school student with a unique ability: she can see ghosts. Unlike many people, Amami is not frightened by the paranormal and actively tries to befriend and assist the spirits. Her efforts often involve getting her friends caught up in supernatural situations as the ghosts try to help her with everyday tasks. This leads to a contrast with Narumi Inoue, a classmate who is afraid of the supernatural and doesn't believe in ghosts, despite her friends' efforts to help the spirits.
