Akane Tsunemori continues her work as an inspector, enforcing the Sibyl System's judgments a year and a half after the events of the original series. New enforcers and junior inspector Mika Shimotsuki, who holds strong beliefs in Sibyl's infallibility, join her team. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges as a mysterious figure discovers a way to manipulate the Crime Coefficient, a number used to assess psychological health and identify potential criminals. Akane must confront a conspiracy that challenges her own convictions and the authority of the Sibyl System.
