Kusuko Harada's secret crush on Mishima Takeshi, the school's class playboy, is put to the test when he asks her to be his date for the class trip to Kyoto. Mishima's complicated feelings for his middle school teacher, Shouko, create tension in his relationships with others, including his friend Kotaro, who disapproves of Mishima's connection with the married teacher.
