Pom Poko

The Tanuki community, a type of shape-shifting mammal, faces significant threats due to Tokyo's expansion. As their forest habitat is increasingly threatened by urbanization, the community's elder, Oroku, decides it's time for action. To protect their home and future generations, the Tanuki band together to use their shapeshifting abilities to deter construction projects and drive humans away from their forests. However, they soon discover that successfully defending their home won't be an easy task.
