Pokemon The Movie 08: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew

The movie takes place in the city of Camaron Palace, where Sir Aaron, the True Guardian of Aura, saved the inhabitants from destruction centuries ago. He sacrificed himself to end a war between kingdoms, and the people hold an annual tournament to honor his act. The current winner, Satoshi, a Kanto region Pokémon trainer, is awarded a staff previously owned by Sir Aaron, which is said to be imbued with his spirit.
