Shingo Ohashi navigates a unique school environment where human and youkai children coexist. This integration is a result of centuries-long efforts to bridge the divide between the two species. At school, Shingo develops feelings for Hatoko "Petoko" Fujimura, a half-youkai girl with distinct abilities: her cuteness can captivate those around her, she becomes stuck to anyone who touches her bare skin, and she can partially control her molecular disappearance.
