Melphiera Marchalrayd, a researcher of monster meat cuisine, seeks to alleviate famine in her lands by teaching people to prepare exotic ingredients. Her unique interest in monsters has led to social isolation, with nobles calling her the "Voracious Villainess" due to her intimate knowledge. Melphiera's life changes when a monster attack occurs at a royal banquet, where she's been sent to find a suitable husband. Aristide Rogier du Galbraith, the Blood-Man Duke, helps her and eventually proposes, drawn to her fearlessness and culinary skills.
