Papillon Rose takes place in Akihabara, a year after the events of the OVA. Following the war, Kabucki-cho was severely damaged, leading to the closure of "Pallion" and the opening of "New Papillion." Tsubomi, along with her colleagues Anne and Shizuku, had lost their memories during the conflict and started new lives in Akihabara.
