Musashi and his childhood friend Kojirou Kanemaki made a promise to become samurai and slay demons together, but their plans were derailed when society began worshiping demons instead of shunning them. Musashi now lives a double life as a miner, secretly honing his swordsmanship while Kojirou, a direct descendant of a samurai, has abandoned their dream. After saving Musashi from a near-death experience, Kojirou joins him on a journey to rediscover his true feelings. Together, they ride iron horses and aim to revive the samurai's tarnished reputation by battling demons.
