Nutcracker Fantasy

Clara visits her relatives, Aunt Gerda and Uncle Drosselmeyer, at their home. Her aunt shares stories about the Ragman, a character known for turning children into mice if they don't go to bed on time. While getting ready for bed, Clara's uncle gives her a wooden nutcracker doll, though he's somewhat self-conscious about its imperfections. The doll's only flawless feature is its heart.
