Nightsong of Splendor

The Nightsong of Splendor is set in Tokyo during the summer of 1923. At this time, the city coexisted with contrasts of old and new, wealth and poverty, and order and disorder. Horse-drawn carriages shared the streets with motorcars, swords were wielded alongside pistols, and members of the aristocracy rubbed shoulders with businessmen. Against this backdrop, a complex web of relationships unfolded, entangling a wealthy woman, her servants, and a young man named Taka, who was connected to the Yakuza through his brother.
