Naruto Uzumaki is temporarily detained by Shinnou, a doctor who needs his help transporting an injured person. This detour leads to an unexpected encounter with Amaru, a young man from a neighboring village who's also seeking Shinnou's assistance. Meanwhile, Tsunade sends a separate team to take down the enemy base, while commissioning Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata to accompany Shinnou and Amaru on their mission.
