Taro Sado, a high school student, has a secret: he's a masochist. Encouraged by his friend Tatsukichi Hayama, Taro joins the Second Voluntary Club, which promises to help him. The club's leader, Mio Isurugi, a self-proclaimed god, is afraid of cats, while other members have their own issues, including Arashiko Yuuno's severe fear of men and Michiru Onigawara's enjoyment of making people cosplay.
