Midnight occult civil servants

Arata Miyako is assigned to the Nocturnal Community Relations Division at the Shinjuku Ward Office, where he meets team members Theo Himezuka and Kyouichi Sakaki. Arata discovers that he can understand the speech of supernatural creatures, a unique ability which sets him apart from his colleagues. This talent also leads to him being mistaken for Abe no Seimei, a famous Heian-era exorcist, by the creatures themselves. As Arata delves deeper into his cases, he becomes increasingly entangled with the occult and the mystery surrounding his origins.
