Tomoya Mikami's life took a drastic turn after his girlfriend Ayaka was fatally injured in a car accident on her way to meet him. The accident left Tomoya feeling guilty and emotionally numb, causing him to push away his friends, including Yue. In his dreams, Tomoya continues to see visions of Ayaka, and as he develops new relationships, he's haunted by these recurring memories.
