Meiji Gekken: 1874

Shizuma Orikasa, a former samurai of the Aizu Domain, works as a rickshaw puller in 1874. His life takes a drastic turn when he's hired by the newly established police force, who are investigating a conspiracy threatening the government. Shizuma's fiancée, Sumie Kanomata, has gone missing, and he's searching for her. Meanwhile, the Moriya yakuza clan welcomes a skilled swordsman, Kyoshiro Shuragami, who has his own motivations within the clan.
