Masamune Datenicle

Masamune Datenicle is a coming-of-age battle story about Date Masamune, a young 17th-century Japanese warlord who would later become famous. Set in the Mutsu province, now part of the modern-day city of Date, the story takes place in the region that bears the Date clan's name. The anime is a product of Gainax's Fukushima studio and forms part of the city's "Kirari na Wonder Project", aiming to promote local tourism and attractions.
