Lipumira, the last surviving member of the Nomad Star tribe, searches for Mapman, whose real name is Gen Tokishima. Gen, a resident of Tokyo, possesses a key piece of the starmap hidden within the Earth, which they can retrieve. Lipumira convinces Gen to join her search for the remaining starmap pieces, but he's initially deterred by his girlfriend's impromptu decision to tag along on their intergalactic journey.
