Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story revolves around Iroha Tamaki, a middle schooler from Takarazaki City, who's become a magical girl after making a deal with a white fairy. Iroha wields a magical crossbow and can heal injuries, but her memories of the deal are hazy, and even the fairy, Kyuubey, seems unsure of what she wished for. Iroha's search for answers leads her to Kamihama City, where she encounters Yachiyo Nanami, a veteran magical girl who saves her from more powerful-than-usual witches.
