Madlax

Madlax is set in two countries: Gazth-Sonika, where civil war is ongoing, and Nafrece, which seems untouched by conflict. In Gazth-Sonika, a skilled mercenary known as Madlax operates, while in Nafrece, Margaret Burton lives a peaceful life. A holy book is central to the story, as both Madlax and Margaret are drawn into its mystery, which is also sought by the shadowy group Enfant.
