Luoyang

Luoyang takes place during the Wu Zhou period, when Wu Zetian's imperial examination system threatened the traditional aristocrats' power. This group of aristocrats, intent on blocking Wu Zetian's ascension, conspired against her in the city of Luoyang, where the protagonist Pei Kun becomes entangled in their plans. Pei Kun's involvement ultimately leads to the unraveling of the conspiracy through a series of events.
