Living for the Day After Tomorrow

Karada Iokawa, a junior high student, is eager to be treated as an adult, especially since her parents passed away, leaving her brother Hiro to care for her when he returns from studying abroad. Hiro's ex-girlfriend Shouko Nogami joins him in Japan, seeking answers about his departure, and her presence creates tension between her and Karada, who Shouko sometimes sees as childish. Karada visits a shrine, praying to grow up, and unknowingly triggers a change when she touches the wishing stone. As Karada ages, Shouko, who was nearby, finds herself reverting to childhood, forcing the two girls to navigate their new roles and relationships.
