Kyoukai Senki

The story takes place in 2061 AD, where Japan has been occupied by four major trade factions. As a result, the Japanese people have lost their sovereignty and live under strict rule. The country has become a hub of global activity since the introduction of AMAIM, humanoid special mobile weapons developed by each economic bloc. Amou Shiiba, an amateur mechanic, teams up with Gai, an advanced artificial intelligence, and together they form a plan to take back Japan, with Amou piloting his homemade AMAIM, the Kenbu.
