Junta Shiraishi, a high school student, aims to live a carefree youth, but his goal is hindered by his tendency to go unnoticed by his peers and even teachers. A rumor suggests that spotting him brings good luck, but only one person consistently acknowledges his presence: Nagisa Kubo, Shiraishi's seatmate.
