Keiichiro, a former musician, lives alone after a fatal traffic accident claimed the lives of his family members in 2039. During that time, helper androids were a common household item. He discovers an old android model in a trash heap and initially intends to discard it after taking it to a repair shop. However, the android somehow starts functioning again, and Keiichiro decides to keep it.
