Koutetsushin Jeeg

Koutetsushin Jeeg is a sequel series that takes place fifty years after the original. It introduces a new cast of characters, with Kenji Kusanagi, a high school student, becoming the main protagonist. Kenji transforms into Kotetsushin Jeeg to combat the resurgence of the "Haniwa Genjin," ancient clay robots from the Jamada Empire, which is once again threatened by Queen Himika.
