Kongjwi & Patjwi

Kongjui lives with her father, but her life changes when a stepmother and stepsister, Patchui, move in. The stepmother, who often favors Patchui's dishonest claims, relies on Kongjui for household chores and frequently punishes her for minor infractions. Kongjui's potential marriage to a young man from a respected family sparks the stepmother's interest in securing a more advantageous union for Patchui. Kongjui meets the young man in the woods and develops romantic feelings for him.
