Juri Yukawa's life is complicated by living with her unemployed parents, her single-parent sister, and her NEET brother Tsubasa. Her nephew Makoto is her family's only hope for the future, but their lives take a turn for the worse when Makoto and Tsubasa are kidnapped by a mysterious organization. Juri's grandfather reveals a secret to her and her father, Takafumi, involving a mystical stone that can grant access to the world of "Stasis" – a parallel world where time stops for everyone but its users. In Stasis, Juri, Takafumi, and Juri's grandfather navigate through a chaotic environment, encountering other individuals who can move about despite the time stop, and a powerful entity known as the Herald.
