Kemurikusa (TV)

The story follows a group of young girls with unique abilities, living in a barren landscape where they must scrounge for water. Their daily struggle to survive is disrupted by the arrival of Wakaba, a boy with no memories beyond his name. He joins the girls on a treacherous journey across treacherous seas of burning red fog to reach distant islands inhabited by swarms of robotic insects. Along the way, they'll have to rely on Wakaba's ability to understand the Kemurikusa - glowing leaves with extraordinary powers - to ensure their survival.
