Tokyo's police department has a unique task force, the Special 7, composed of humans and supernatural creatures like elves, dwarves, and vampires. Seiji Nanatsuki, a young detective, joins the Special 7 after a chance encounter with Shiori Ichinose, a member of the team, during a bank robbery-turned-hostage crisis.
