Karneval (TV)

Nai is searching for a friend and becomes the captive of a woman with a taste for human flesh, but a thief named Gareki intervenes and helps him escape. However, their escape is short-lived as she transforms into a monstrous creature. The boys then meet Circus, a government agency that handles unusual crimes and protects humans from varuga, monstrous creatures that devour humans. They decide to join Circus in the hopes of finding Nai's friend, but their journey is fraught with danger and they soon uncover hints of a shadowy organization called Kafka.
