Shintarou Kisaragi, a NEET who had been isolated in his room for two years, re-engages with the outside world after interacting with Ene, a cyber girl he met through a mysterious email sent to him a year prior. Ene, who had been accessing Shintarou's computer, prompts him to venture out for the first time in two years. This unexpected event disrupts Shintarou's routine, causing him to reassess his life.
