JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency

The backstory of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series takes place 102,000 years ago in the area now known as Mexico. A group of ancient beings with remarkable lifespans and the ability to absorb energy from living organisms lived underground due to their vulnerability to sunlight. Kars, a humanoid Pillar Man, created a stone mask that granted immortality by absorbing life energy, but it couldn't unlock his full potential. Kars' obsession with using the mask to conquer the sun ultimately led to his tribe attempting to kill him, resulting in a violent confrontation between Kars and his companion Esidisi, with Kars emerging victorious and killing most of his tribe.
