JK-MESHI! revolves around three high school classmates, Reina, Ryouka, and Ruriko, who have developed a unique cooking style focused on simple, unpretentious dishes known as JK meshi. These B-class dishes often serve as a distraction for the girls when they're studying for exams, providing a welcome break from their academic responsibilities. As a result, their JK meshi creations have become a staple in their daily lives.
