Jeremy no Ki

Jeremy no Ki is based on a children's picture book. The story centers around a bird that was raised by a tree after being abandoned, and its desperate search for its adoptive mother when the tree is cut down for use in the city's Christmas celebrations. The bird teams up with Jeremy, a penniless orphan who learned of its situation, to search through every tree in town. Along the way, Jeremy's search is hindered by the cold, but a surprise visitor provides a glimmer of hope.
