Kotoko Iwanaga, known as the "God of Wisdom," has been a mediator between humans and youkai for some time, resolving supernatural problems that arise between the two realms. This role involves working with youkai, spirits that inhabit the world, but are often at odds with humanity. Kotoko's work requires her to remain vigilant, as not all youkai are benign. She becomes particularly interested in Kurou Sakuragawa, a university student whose past relationship has left him seemingly vulnerable to supernatural influences.
