Minato attends an anime event with a friend, where he's impressed by the voice actors' performances. He decides to enroll in Suidoubashi Animation Academy, where he meets Chikako, who used to live in his designated room and left a message on a USB drive. Chikako and Minato bond over their struggles, as he aspires to be a voice actor despite self-doubt and she deals with past traumas. Under the guidance of seniors Ryouta and Kei, they try to overcome their personal challenges.
