Highschool Aurabuster: Birth of the Light

Highschool Aurabuster: Birth of the Light is an anime based on a popular novel series by WAKAGI Mio, which was also adapted into a manga by MORI Makoto. The OVA features original storylines and character designs from the novels, illustrated by KOUGA Yun. The series draws from a centuries-old conflict between the Kuu no mono and the You no mono, where Kara-ou sealed Kuna-hi to protect the world. In the present, Kara-ou is reborn as Shinobu Saiga, while Ryosuke Sakiya, a first-year student with exceptional psychic powers, becomes entangled in the battle between these forces.
