High School Fleet

High School Fleet is set in Japan, a maritime nation that has thrived after the majority of its area submerged due to catastrophic tectonic shifts 100 years prior. The country now has well-developed sea routes and coastal cities, which are defended by specialized naval ships. At Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School, childhood friends Akeno Misaki and Moeka China are reunited and join others who aim to become Blue Mermaids, high-skilled sailors who protect the seas. As Akeno and Moeka take on captain roles and command their own ships, they encounter challenges, including engine and navigation failures that put the Harekaze crew in danger.
