Hatena Illusion

The Hoshisato family has access to powerful magical artifacts that were stolen and scattered worldwide. These artifacts can bring misfortune to those who misuse them. Kana "Hatena" Hoshisato, an inexperienced magician, wants to help her parents Mamoru and Maeve return the artifacts to their rightful place.

Her childhood friend Makoto Shiranui arrives at their mansion, intending to study magic under her father's guidance as part of a long-standing promise. However, Hatena is initially disappointed when Makoto reveals he's actually a boy, leading to a complicated reunion. Despite this, Makoto remains committed to his goals, wanting to use his magic to alleviate the suffering of others, including Hatena, whom he hopes to partner with.
