The Phantom Empire's members were released into the world after the Axia box was opened, prompting the Precure warriors to defend humanity against these malevolent forces. Hime Shirayuki, the princess of the kingdom where the Axia was stored, wields the powers of "Cure Princess" to combat monsters summoned by the Empire. Despite her bravery, Hime's timid nature often hinders her effectiveness in battles. Her friendship with Megumi Aino, a cheerful teenager, leads to Megumi discovering her potential as "Cure Lovely" and together they form the Happiness Charge Precure team to protect the world and explore themes of friendship and love.
