Hakkenden -Eight Dogs of the East-

The village of Ootsuka was attacked and burned down, supposedly to contain a supposed virus. The survivors, Shino Inuzuka, Sousuke Inukawa, and Hamaji, encountered a mysterious man who told them they had a chance to live if they made a decision. This event drastically changed their lives. Five years later, the trio lives near the Imperial Church, but their peaceful existence is disrupted when the Church attempts to reclaim the demonic sword Murasame, which is tied to Shino and Sousuke's unique abilities.
