Tsukasa, a wavemaster, wakes up in the MMORPG The World with amnesia, unable to recall his past actions. He's suspected by the Crimson Knights of being a hacker due to his association with a cat-like character. In his attempts to find answers, Tsukasa stumbles upon a magical item, a "guardian," that promises him protection. The leader of the Crimson Knights, Subaru, and other players try to investigate Tsukasa's situation to prevent further complications.
