H2O: Footprints in the Sand

H2O: Footprints in the Sand revolves around Takuma Hirose, a high school student who has been blind since an unknown cause. He moves to live with his uncle in a village, where he meets several girls, including Hayami Kohinata, Hinata Kangura, and Otoha. Otoha's intervention allows him to regain his sight temporarily, which he uses to help others. Hirose learns that Hayami is subject to local animosity and tries to support her, uncovering a series of tragic village secrets in the process.
