Shouzou and Ine Saitou have been married for nearly sixty years, their love remaining unwavering despite life's challenges. The couple tends to their apple orchard, visited regularly by their loving family. While pruning a branch from their wedding-day tree, which was damaged in a typhoon, they notice a golden apple. Eating it at home, they wake up the next morning to find themselves young again.
