Glass Maiden

The story of Glass Maiden takes place in Rags Town, a Japanese garbage dump where people often seek to escape their pasts. Residents are discouraged from asking about their backgrounds or forming close relationships, as seen at the local S&A Detectives agency, a small detective firm. Ayamana and his partner are hired to investigate a mysterious woman known as Sara, who is being pursued by armed women. As they delve into Sara's case, they uncover a larger mystery involving teenage girls who are inexplicably turning into glass, sparking a government cover-up and prompting the local police, a reporter, and the detectives to investigate further.
