G.G. Bond's team has successfully eradicated all monster threats in the real world, so they've shifted their focus to a virtual reality simulator to stay prepared for future threats. The simulator allows G.G. Bond to reconnect with his father, but what he doesn't know is that his father is actually the King of Darkness, who is manipulating the virtual environment to merge it with reality. This blurs the lines between illusion and reality, and the King of Darkness takes advantage of the confusion to launch a surprise attack.
