Getsumen To Heiki Mina is a spin-off of the Densha Otoko TV drama. The series references Mina, a character from an anime that Yamada, the otaku protagonist, is obsessed with. Mina is an homage to earlier works, including Daicon Animation, where a similar bunny girl appeared. The character's design draws inspiration from these earlier creations.
